The 7th European Congress of Local Governments

The 7th European Congress of Local Governments will be held on April 11-12, 2022 in Mikołajki (Poland) at the Hotel Gołębiewski. The Congress, organized by the Institute for Eastern Studies, refers in its formula to the Economic Forum in Karpacz. This year's Congress will be held under the slogan "Building a Community of the Future".
BWA Global Economic Network is delighted to be an institutional partner from the German side and will host a panel entitled “How to Strengthen Cross-Border Cooperation of Regions? Challenges and Opportunities for Local Governments in Europe”.
The cooperation of cities and regions of Europe on the economic and social levels has a significant impact on the politics and economy of our continent. The European Congress of Local Governments is a platform for the exchange of views and a meeting place for local government leaders, regional elites and representatives of state administration, non-governmental organizations and business.
The organizers predict that the Congress will be participated by over 1,000 guests - local government leaders and regional elites, representatives of state administration, the world of business, culture, NGOs, media from Central and Eastern Europe.
In this year's edition, we would like to offer you a programme consisting of ten thematic paths covering over 110 events: programme blocks, reports, discussion panels, workshops, lectures, presentations. We are also planning a gala ceremony at which we will award the winners - the leaders of the best Polish communes. Among the planned topics you will find:
